All in all, it just looks as if autumn has been hurried up a bit, and all those beautiful sheaves of red, gold, russet and every shade of green have merely gathered thicker and earlier than they might have
Oh Jesus, I can hear the self-pitying tone in this, but I am not going to edit it, try and make it clever, salvage my ego’s authority or status. This ego’s on toast. Sunny side down.
